Clarkton – James "JD" Marlow, 81 of Clarkton, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025 at his residences in Clarkton, Missouri.

JD son of Calvin James and Ima E. Tucker Marlow, was born on Wednesday, December 1, 1943 in Gideon, Missouri.

He retired from Noranda.

On May 5, 1964 in Gideon, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Clara Charlene Sheppard Marlow.  She preceded him in death on April 5, 2001.

His survivors include four children, James Doyle Marlow of Searcy, Arkansas, Calvin Edward Marlow and wife, Sandy of Gideon, Wanda Jean Marlow and Angela Tanner and husband, Darion all of Clarkton; nine grandchildren, Mitchell Burchall (Payton), Brandon Marlow (Elizabeth), Ashlee Marlow, Christine Marlow, Macy Crowder, Taylor Cullum (Tyler), Kimberly Marlow, Lindsey Hayman (Ashten), Jonah Huckabee; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Mitchell Marlow of Cabot, Arkansas; three sisters, Betty Neal and Jeanetta Neal both of Melbourne, Arkansas and Sanday Wilhite of Violet Hill, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Effie Langford and brother, Edward Lee Marlow.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Missouri, with services beginning at 1 p.m., with Reverend Tony Allen officiating.  Burial following at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
