James Theodore Fuemmeler of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Oakdale Skilled Nursing in Poplar Bluff at the age of 78 years, 4 months, and 9 days.

James, son of the late Francis Theodore Fuemmeler and Frances Loretta Larkin Fuemmeler, was born on Saturday February 19, 1944 at Malden, MO.  He was the owner and operator of a sawmill and was of the Catholic faith.  James was united in marriage to Betty Lou Hartle Fuemmeler.  She preceded him in death.  Also preceding him in death were two sisters:  Marie Baker and Jeanette Counts and one brother:  Robert (Bob) Fuemmeler.

His survivors include:  one son, Kevin Wayne Fuemmeler (Lisa) of Harviell, Missouri; one daughterKimberly Uhl (Randy) of Harviell, Missouri; 5 grandchildren; 11 great granchildren; 4 siblings, Delores Weeks (Sonny) and Edward Fuemmeler of Campbell, Missouri, Leonard Joe Fuemmeler (Nora) of Rushville, Missouri, and Carolyn Pospeshil (Art) of Salem, Missouri.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM Saturday, July 2, 2022 with funeral services to follow at 11 AM at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell with Rev. Darren Baker officiating. Burial will be in Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.
