Malden ~ Hester Lue Stone, 90 of Campbell, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at her residence in Campbell, Missouri.

Hester, daughter of Robert Earl and Allie Mae Rideout Green, was born on January 15, 1932 in Holcomb, Missouri.

She was a housewife and a member the Bethany General Baptist Church for 28 years.

On October 7, 1951 in Malden, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Dallas Ray Stone.  He preceded her in death on February 15, 1989.

Her survivors include, seven children, Virginia Dockins and husband, Jerry of Bloomfield, Janet McCurter and husband, Bobby of Branson, Debra Burrow and husband, Dean of Malden, Barbara McCurter and Brenda Pemberton of Kennett and Danny Stone and wife, Stacia of Malden, Travis Stone of Lilbourn; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Wendell Dwight Stone, David Edward Stone; brother, Willie Green; four sisters, Rotha Marie Jaggers, Cora May Skidmore, Rosa Bell Green and Dora Lee Green.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM Wednesday, November 9, 2022 with funeral services beginning at 11 AM at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Reverend Bryan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Campbell.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden, Missouri, will be in charge of arrangements.
