Obituary

Piggott ~ Glenda Kay Spicer, 75 of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at her residence in Piggott, Arkansas.

Glenda, daughter of Ambress and Myra Irene Duncan Thrasher, was born on Thursday, April 1, 1948 in Campbell, Missouri.

She was a retired Nursing Home Administrator and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Piggott.

She was first married to J. O. Lipsey.  He preceded her in death.  She married Oral Edgar "Eddie" Armitage; he also preceded her in death.  She later married Howard Spicer on September 19, 2003 at the First Baptist Church in Piggott, Arkansas.  He survives.

Other survivors include her children, Travis Lipsey (Katie), Darrin Lipsey and Cynda Moore (Brian); sister, Joyce Todd of Campbell and brother, Junior Thrasher of Texas; grandchildren, Danielle, Andrea, Nathan, Beth and Will Lipsey, Isaac, Hannah, Samuel, Melody Faith and Justin Moore, Trevor Spicer and Jacqueline Gatling; great-grandchildren who brought her much joy Lola, Ashyn, McKinley, Ryleigh, Clara, Fisher, Merlin, Rossie and Rorie.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Loretta Cartee, Kathy Thrasher and Donald Thrasher; and granddaughter, Klarissa Moore.

A Celebration of Life will be Monday, April 1st at 10:30 a.m., at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Piggott, Arkansas.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
