Catron ~ Glen Dale Allen, 79 of Catron, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at his residence in Catron, Missouri.

Glen, son of Vernie and Nona Bell Wrinkle Allen, was born on Sunday, October 8, 1944 in Lake City, Arkansas.

He was a lifetime farmer and was of the Christian Faith.

On July 30, 1964, in Travis City, Michigan, he was united in marriage to Cheryl Allen.  She survivors.

Other survivors include son, John Allen and wife, Cindy of Catron; daughter, Lorie Moore and husband, Jim of Bloomfield; three grandchildren, Chris Allen of Parma, Kara Beth Allen and Clayton Tackett of East Prairie, Madeline Ledbetter and husband, Nick of Bloomfield; two great-grandchildren, Lenox Baker, Katherine Bell Ledbetter; three sisters, Patricia Avery of Granite City, Illinois; Sheila Reese of Lake of the Ozarks and Brenda Sue Allen of Springfield, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jerry Allen; three sisters, Peggy Hampton, Judy Belt and Verna Dodge.

A private burial will be held at a later date.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden are in charge of the arrangements.
