Wentzville ~ Gladys Fern Lemonds, 95 of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, Missouri.

Gladys, daughter of Robert H. and Flarrah Elvira Edwards Borders, was born on Tuesday, November 26, 1929 in Campbell, Missouri.

She was a retired District Manager for Avon Products and was of the Baptist Faith.

On May 28, 1947 in Kennett, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Paul Adiel Lemonds.  He preceded her in death on August 16, 2014.

Her survivors include sons, Adiel Dwight Lemonds and Randy Lemonds (Patty) all of Wentzville; 11 grandchildren, Brian Lemonds, Shaun Lemonds, Adam Lemonds, Katie Lemonds, Laura (Dale) Obermoeller, Emily Lemonds, Cody (Kim)Lemonds, Rj Lemonds, Jessica Staggs (Mike), Melvin Stanger (Megan), and Rebecca Stanger and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death parents; husband; brothers, Odie Borders, Dale Borders; sisters, Ora East, Maxine Brown and Elsie Wall.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell, Missouri, with funeral service beginning at 12 noon with Reverend Bryan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
