Gibson ~ George "Dean" Todd, 75 of Gibson, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at NHC in Kennett, Missouri.
Dean, son of James Alexander and Mary LaVerne Wakefield Todd, Jr., was born on Saturday, June 23, 1945 in Gibson, Missouri.
He was a farmer; he received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Missouri in Agriculture; was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Gibson.
On June 3, 1974 in Gibson, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Reva Ann Harmon. She survives.
Other survivors include, one daughter, Deana Lucas of Wisconsin; two grand-children, Keri Luttrell and husband, Drew of Iberia, Missouri and Amy Lynn Lucas of Gibson; two great-grandchildren, Annabella Lucas and Kenzie Luttrell; one brother, Tom Todd and wife, Pat of Campbell; two sisters, Mary Jane Bradley and husband, Frank of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Susan Stubblefield of Bartlett, Tennessee
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2021 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Reverend Bryan Johnson officiating. Burial will immediately follow.
Due to the pandemic, the family is requiring everyone to wear masks, inside the funeral home. Thank You.
