Gary Ray Hendrix, 77, of Campbell, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Cedar Gate Healthcare in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Gary was born October 16, 1948, in New Madrid, Missouri, to the late Glen Hendrix and Ruby (Tramell) Hendrix.

Gary was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a correctional officer for the State of Arizona and was of the Baptist faith.

Gary is survived by three daughters, Angelina Hendrix (John Lanza) and Denise Hendrix, both of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Lindsey Veatch and husband Craig of Phoenix, Arizona; his grandchildren, Emma Veatch, Angel Hendrix, Autumn Sanders, Allen W.J. Sanders Jr., Hendrix, David Williams, and Dallas Hord; one great-granddaughter, Emberly Rose; one brother, Leland Hendrix and wife Janice of Campbell and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Doug Hendrix, Clayton Hendrix, and Mickey Hendrix.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
