Imperial ~ Freddie Ray Sheets, 76, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at his residence in Imperial, Missouri.

Freddie, son of Ray and Sarah Loreda Jones Sheets, was born on Sunday, January 11, 1942, in Trumann, Arkansas.

He was a retired welder and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial, Missouri. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

On January 2, 1965 in Glennonville, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Agnes Blume.  She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Jim Sheets and wife, Julia of Arnold, Curt Sheets and wife, Laura of Imperial; one daughter, Terri Sheets of Imperial; six grandchildren, Jamie Sheets of St. Louis, Jacob Sheets of Quincy, Illinois, Devon Sheets, Jared Sheets, Matt Sheets and Maggie Sheets all of Imperial; two sisters, JoAnn McCormick and husband, Lloyd of Campbell, Linda Goodson of Fenton; two brothers, Carl Sheets and Tim Sheets both of Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Brenda Thompson Riddle.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m., Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell with prayer service at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m., Monday, August 13, 2018 at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Glennonville with Father William Hennecke officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Teresa Cemetery in Glennonville.
