Freddie Montgomery, Sr., 72 of Malden, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at his residence in Malden, Missouri.

Freddie, son of Thelmon Montgomery and Willie Starr Montgomery, was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1949 in Wilson, Arkansas.

He was a laborer, mechanic and a jack of all trades. He was a member at the Malden United Pentecostal Church in Malden.

On Saturday, February 25, 2006 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Donna Andrews, she survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Freddie Montgomery, Jr. of Crossville, Tennessee and Justin Morgan of Mill Springs, Missouri; seven daughters, Lisa Taylor (Mark) of Dexter, Missouri; Theresa Perry (Andy) of Crossville, Tennessee; Tina Byrd (Tim) of Crossville, Tennessee; Amanda Harris (Tarrance) of Paducah, Kentucky; Bethany Stephens (Perry) of Mayfield, Kentucky; Nikki Brock (Mike) of Bernie, Missouri and Ginger Edwards (Chad) of Fairdealing, Missouri; many grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and sister, Mag Eubanks of Joliet, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Junior, Robert and John Thomas Montgomery; two sisters, Ruth Boozer and Mary Cheney and a daughter-in-law, Kristen Montgomery.

Family Visitation is from 5 - 6 p.m. and public visitation is from 6 - 7 p.m., on Wednesday, December 29, 2021at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7 p.m. with Bro. Bobby Moore officiating.
