Reflecting on the Life of "Suzie"

On April 19 ^th , 1958 Cornell and Carrie Brooks gave birth to a beautiful little girl, Evelyn Sue, happily called "Suzie".  Suzie was later blessed to be loved by a wonderful stepdad, John Henry White.  On August 21 ^st , 2020, God called his Angel Suzie home. Suzie was baptized at a young age at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, where her family attended.  Suzie had a strong faith in the Lord, even though she probably had him shaking his head often.  She had a feisty spirit and a love for life.  Her smile and laugh were contagious and could light up a room.

Suzie is preceded in death by her parents, brothers – Harlin, James, Marlin, Timothy, and Paul Oliver, sister Sheila, and granddaughter Aries Brooks.

Suzie leaves to cherish her memory – Sons Trinity Brooks (Chiquita) and  Ebony Brooks (Tammy), daughter Sharee Brooks Woodfork (Richard), sister Nekita Fuller (Andre'), grandchildren Kristopher Brooks, Richard Woodfork Jr., DeQuan Curry, Arianna Curry, Trinity Brooks Jr., Asia Brooks, and Alexander Brooks, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
