Eugene A. Moon, 59, of Malden, was born on June 22, 1959 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to the late Alonzo Moon and Francis Griffin Moon. He departed this life on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Eugene A. Moon was a lineman for the City of Colorado Springs, Colorado and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was united in marriage to Ethel Diane Payne on May 12, 1990 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She survives of the home in Malden.

2 Sons: Rodney Moon of Aurora, Colorado and Donte Moon & wife, Shannon of Aurora, Colorado.
Daughter: Betty Payne of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
7 Grandchildren.
Brother: Lonnie Moon & wife, Pat of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Sister: Norma Pittman & husband, Alfred of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Sister-in-law: Debbie Moon of Denver, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandchild and 2 brothers: Ronald Moon & Norman Moon.
