Campbell ~ Eugene James Bader, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Chestnut Rehab Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Eugene, son of Robert John and Cahterine Elizabeth Blume Bader, was born on Sunday, June 12, 1955 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He retired in 2015 after 38 years from the Union Pacific Railroad and was a lifelong farmer.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friend, hunting and fishing.

His survivors include one son, Brandon Bader of Glennonville; six sisters, Evelyn J. Donohue of Okawville, Illinois, Carolyn Peters (David) of Beebe, Arkansas, Edna Mae Knotts (Pat) of Imperial, Mary Lee Suiter of Cabot, Arkansas, Betty M. Kerperien (Duane) of Cahokia, Illinois and Becky Petry (Sonny) of Glennonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Cletus J. Bader and Robert (Bob) Joseph Bader.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell with rosary at 11 a.m.  Graveside service will be at 12 noon Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery in Glennonville with Father Victor Anokwute officiating.  Burial will immediately follow.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
