Campbell ~ Easter G. Freeman, 99 years and 9 months, of Campbell went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Easter, daughter of late John Wesley and Rachel Ann Hancock Launius, was born on Easter Sunday, March 27, 1921 in Holcomb, Missouri.

Easter was a lifelong farm wife and a member of the Clarkton and Campbell communities.  She graduated from the Clarkton High School where she starred on the first girls' basketball team.  She was a member of the Lynn Oak General Baptist Church in Clarkton.  She later attended, with her husband, Beechwell General Baptist Church and the Campbell United Methodist Church.

On September 1, 1940, in Kennett, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Marion Ester Freeman, Sr.  He preceded her in death on January 20, 1999.

Her survivors include three sons, Marion (Nick) E. Freeman, Jr. and wife, Judy of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ron Freeman of Campbell, Gary Freeman and wife, Joyce of Qulin; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by eleven siblings, Homer, Coy, Jim, Luke, Lula, Jay, Bea, Bertha, Bunk, Dick and Midge.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 30. 2020 at Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell with Reverend Darren Baker officiating. Burial will immediately follow.
