Doug Reeder, 83, of Malden, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett, Missouri.

Doug was born on Thursday, April 8, 1943 in Tomato, Arkansas to the late Thurman and Jessie Ross Reeder.

Doug served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked at Noranda Aluminum for over 30 years and attended Sunnyvale General Baptist Church in Malden. Doug found great joy on the golf course, watching his son race on the dirt track, visiting his homestead in Risco and loved spending time with his family.

On January 28, 1966 in Piggott, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Paula Seal. She preceded him in death on November 21, 2021.

His survivors include daughter, Stephanie Oszman and husband Keith of Troy, Tennessee; son Paul Reeder and wife, Paula of Malden; seven grandchildren, Danny Davidson, Jeniece Burrow (Jesse), Keith Oszman, Jr., Brandon Reeder (Julianna), Zach Gunnels (Emily) and Matt Reeder; three great-grandchildren, Axel Reeder, Parker Johnson and Brock Johnson; two brothers, Tom Reeder and wife Susan of Quincy, Illinois and Roy Reeder of Chicago, Illinois.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Oszman and brother, Richard Reeder.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden, Missouri with the funeral service beginning at 6 p.m. with Rev. James Hamlett officiating.
