Dorothy Jean Stephens was born on Tuesday, May 14, 1946 in Oakman, Alabama to the late Carl Brantley Hagood and Ollie Mae Early Hagood.  She departed this life on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at her residence in Osceola, Arkansas at the age of 78 years, 2 months and 27 days. Dorothy was an office manager for DirecTV and a member of Lynn Oak General Baptist Church in Clarkton, Missouri.  On September 28, 2002 in Adamsville, Alabama, she was united in marriage to Junior M. Stephens. He survives.

Other survivors include, daughters, Tabatha Hart and Steve Branch and Melissa Star Calvert and husband Tim; sons, Russell Franklin Roberts and Jason T. Roberts and wife Angie; daughter in law, Molly Stephens; grandchildren, Chandra Roland, Chelsea Hart, Logan Hart, Kaci Hart, Ariel Gallagher, Skye Cook, Hayley Bishop, Jim Canady, Brittany Summers, Jacob Calvert, William Calvert, Cameron Branch, Chase Branch, Page Stephens, and Nathan Stephens; sisters, Joan Hall and Sandra Vatani; brothers, Orville Hagood and wife Dorenia and James Hagood and wife Cora and a host of great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Shannon Hart and Trent Stephens; sisters, Betty June Branham and Doris Faye Cain.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Stephen Moody officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
