Campbell ~ Donnie Murphy, 83 of Campbell, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Donnie, son of Clyde Lee and Mollie Ethel Belt Murphy, was born on Friday, August 16, 1940 in Gibson, Missouri.

He was a farmhand and worked for both the Holcomb and Union Township as a road grader.  He was a member of the South Canaan General Baptist Church.

On December 24, 1975 in Gibson, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Margaret Weeks.  She survives.

Other survivors include daughters, Cori Cherry and husband, Chris of Greenback, Tennessee, Cassie Burke and husband, Tony of Campbell; grandchildren, Lauryn, Rayleigh and Kaelyn; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Weeks and brother-in-law, Harold W. Weeks both of Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy Murphy and Houston Moore and father-in-law, Harold Weeks.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell with Reverend Bruce Vinson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
