Campbell ~ Donna Dickens, 66 of Campbell, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Donna, daughter of Virgil Long and Constance Matlock Long Gilpin, was born on Thursday, March 3, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri.

She was a Certified Nursing Aide and was of the non-denominational Christian faith.

On January 6, 1978 in Campbell, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Charles J. "Cowboy" Dickens.  He preceded her in death on October 21, 2004.

Her survivors include four sons, Daniel Long and David Long both of Campbell, Scotty Long and wife, Tina of Hot Springs, John Dickens and wife, Holly of Rector; three daughters, Amy Higgins and husband, Richie of Piggott, Brenda Akridge and husband, Clinton of Campbell, Dawn Johnson and husband, Richard of Qulin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin Long, Darrell Long; six sisters, Wilma Baker, Lettie Sears, Brenda Reed, Linda Cato, Teresa Lindsey and Janice Elliott.

Beside her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Chucky Dickens; one grandson, Tyler Dewayne Umfress; two brothers, Charles Long, James Long; five sisters, Thelma Long, Louise Long, Lois Smith, Karen Beaver and Glenda Long.

Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell, with funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. with Reverend Robert Looney officiating.  Burial will follow at Elder Cemetery in Campbell.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
