Phil Luallen, son of the late Wiley Luallen and Gracie Kathleen Walton Luallen Pickard was born on Monday May 25, 1953.  He departed this life on Wednesday July 9, 2025 at his residence in Malden at the age of 72 years, 1 month and 15 days.  Phil worked at the newspaper office in Malden for many years.    He loved baseball and loved to read.   His survivors include:  brother, Rodger Luallen and niece, Marisa Luallen both of Okmulgee, OK and many great nieces and great nephews.  Phil was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Huel Pickard; grandparents, Rev. Ernest Walton and Ethel Walton; niece, Marcy Luallen; and nephews, Marc Luallen and Mario Luallen.

A graveside service will be held at 9 AM on Monday August 4, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden with Rev. James Hamlett officiating.  Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden is in charge of the arrangements.
