Dennis Ralph Loyd, 76 of Malden, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at his residence in Malden. Dennis, son of the late Ralph and Daisey Akers Loyd was born on Wednesday, March 9, 1949 in Kennett, Missouri.

Dennis was a maintenance worker at the Gideon Nursing Home and was of the Baptist faith.

On September 28, 1968 in Caruthersville, Dennis was united in marriage to Shelia Risner, she survives.

His other survivors include three sons, Dennis Loyd, Jr. and wife, Mary of Malden, Danny Loyd of Fisk and Patrick Loyd and wife Lamanda of Malden; nine grandchildren, Sasha Loyd, Alex Loyd, Brittany Loyd, Preston Loyd, Adam Walker, Austin Loyd, Nick Smith, Randi Smith and Krystal Santos; six great-grandchildren and sister, Bonnie Hancock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Donnie Loyd and two sisters, Judy Lowman and Barbara Winberry

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden is in charge of the arrangements.
