Kay retired from Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in 2020.   She loved her grandchildren and created many magical memories with them by telling stories of things like "mish mosh dillows."    One of the other things she adored more than anything was Diet Coke, which she lovingly referred to as her "sodees."  She made the best Ooey Gooey Butter Cake.  She loved to eat at White Castle and Red Lobster.  She also adored Elvis and listening to music in her kitchen decorated with chickens.   She loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball.

She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Dabish and husband Robert of Oregon, Ohio; her son, Timothy Lipsey of Northwood, Ohio; grandchildren, Tyler Gutterson of Poplar Bluff, Ethan Dabish (Makayla) of Rossford, Ohio, Ali Henderson (Nicholas), of Poplar Bluff, Mo, Emma Gutterman of Oregon, Ohio, Katelyn French (Drayden), Zakary Lipsey, and Zeb Schmitt of Poplar Bluff, Mo.  She is also survived by great grandchildren Monroe Dabish of Rossford, Ohio, and H.B and Arlo French of Poplar Bluff, Mo.  Kay is also survived by her brother Jerry Summers (Lisa) of Campbell, Mo.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Alma Jean Summers and one brother John Lewis Summers.
