Deborah Garris Cook, 57 of Malden, was born to the late Lloyd Franklin and Murial Lorene Neal Garris in Kennett, Missouri on September 4, 1966. She departed this life on Sunday, February 18, 2024 in Malden, Missouri.

Deborah was a homemaker and was a member of the United Voice of Zion Church in Malden.

Her survivors include daughter, Heather Vandiver and Steve Pickard of Malden; son, Chad Hillis and wife Whitney of Malden; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Addison, Kennedy and Layne Hillis, Riley Vandiver and Brooklyn Pickard and sister, Mary Lou Mims of Malden.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jimmie Garris and Kenneth Garris.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with Mr. Eric Garris officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood 1st Addition Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.
