Poplar Bluff ~ David Lee Blume, 56 of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at his residence in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

David, son of Edward Joseph and Janice Marie Kerperien Blume, was born on Thursday, November 9, 1967 in Belleville, Illinois.

He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and had worked at Home Depot.

On October 26, 2001, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Betty Joan Hanser.  She preceded him in death on August 11, 2003.

His survivors include sons, David Blume and wife, Shana, Edward Blume and Joseph Blume; daughter, Jennifer Blume Anderson and husband, Joseph; four sisters, Diana Mittelstadt and husband, Mark of Glennonville, Pamela Scott and husband, Randy of Campbell, Cynthia Cribb and husband, Jeremy of Naylor, Susan Pfeffer and husband, Aron of Dexter; brother, Paul Blume and wife, Shelby of Glennonville; several nieces and nephews; step-daughters, Jennifer Allen and husband, Aaron, Missy Spell, Bobbi Kreulen and husband, Ben and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one step-daughter.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2024, with Rosary at 7 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell, Missouri.  Graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, Missouri with Father Daniel Robles officiating. Burial following at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
