Darlene Krepps, was born on Saturday, March 21, 1936 in Campbell, Missouri to the late Bonnie Johnson Loafman and Clarence Loafman. She departed this life on Monday, January 11, 2021 at the age of 84 years 9 months and 21 days at Southeast Health of Stoddard County in Dexter.

She was a Homemaker, a member of Bethany General Baptist Church and loved to sing gospel music. For many years she sang with the Bethany Quartet, which included two brothers, Dennis and Mabrey Loafman, and several bass singers throughout the years. Darlene was united in marriage to James Martin Krepps on August 13, 1960 in Campbell. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2011.

Her survivors include two daughters, Katrina Hodges of Malden and Kristie Liemer and husband, Scott of Jackson, Missouri; son, Kurt Krepps and wife, Jennifer of Campbell; step-son, Tony Krepps and wife, Bonnie of Decatur, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Austin and Dylan Greene, Kendra Hodges, Kennady, Graceyn, Kaylan and Channing Krepps; three brothers Mabrey Loafman and wife, Gene of Campbell, Carson Loafman and wife, Sue of Jackson, Missouri and Harlan Loafman of Bernie.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Edward, Dennis, J.D., and Clarence Jr. Loafman and two sisters, Dathel Cartwright and Ruby King.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Bethany General Baptist Church in Campbell beginning at 11a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 12p.m. with Rev. Bryan Johnson officiating.

Interment will be at Bethany Cemetery in Campbell.
