Daniel Ray Gum 52, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 in Gideon, Missouri. Daniel the son of Tommy Ray and Debra Jane White Gum was born on Thursday, February 8, 1973 in Kennett, Missouri.

Daniel had worked for Plastene Supply where he was a foreman.

He is survived by daughter, Christa Bixler and husband, Luke of Malden; son, Josh Flanigan of Campbell; three grandchildren, Brooks, Baylor and Blain Bixler; sister, Teresa Morgan and husband, Reid of Clarkton; four nephews, Devin Williams, Owen Morgan, Layne Morgan and Trey Morgan and several great nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, JE Gray, Jr; and great uncle, Gary Leon White.

A visitation will be from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at First Baptist Church in Clarkton on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden is in charge of the arrangements.
