Dan M. Alexander was born in Cascade, Missouri to the late Milverd and Ethel Tripp Alexander on Tuesday, November 7, 1944.   He departed this life on Thursday, August 25, 2022 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 77 years, 9 months, and 18 days.  Dan was the owner of Malden Marble Works. He was of the Lutheran faith.  He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and loved to hunt.

On December 15, 1963, he was united in marriage to Barbara Scowden in Lowndes, Missouri.  She survives.

Other survivors include:  1 daughter:  Dana Cook of Bernie. 3 grandchildren:  Daniel Crain of Malden; Hunter Crain of Cape Girardeau; and Kaden Cook of Malden. 1 brother:  Larry Alexander of Cascade.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother:  Jim Alexander.

Visitation will begin at 12 PM, Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  The funeral service will follow in the Landess Funeral Chapel at 1 PM Tuesday, August 30, 2022 with Rev. Mark Pickard and Randy Moore officiating.
