Campbell ~ Claudia May Waters, 86 of Campbell, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at her residence in Campbell, Missouri.

Claudia, daughter of Jessie Edgar and Tranquilla Marie Williams McElyea, was born on Thursday, May 28, 1936 in Athens, Alabama.

She was a farm laborer, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Claudie was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

On January 26, 1955 in Osceola, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Robert Lee Waters.  He preceded her in death on June 21, 2019.

Her survivors include, her children, Eddie Lee Waters of Campbell and Nancy Ann Waters Moore and husband, Clyde Oscar of Campbell; eight grandchildren, Christopher Lee Waters, Michael Thomas Waters, Jacob Taylor Waters, Robert Thomas Moore, Reuben Titus Moore, Julie Renee Moore McConnell, Joanie Rebecca Moore, Cindy Lou Moore; two great-grandchildren, Mallory Cheyene Waters and Bryanna Hope Moore.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Graveside service will be at 9 a.m., Monday, July 11, 2022 at the Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell with Mr. Michael Waters officiating.  Burial will immediately follow.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
