Malden ~ Claudia Ann Baker, 80 of Malden, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at her residence in Malden, Missouri.

Claudia, daughter of Claude Wesley and Sarah Ruth Derrington Council, was born on Saturday, March 15, 1941 in Dogwood, Missouri.

She was a Tax Accountant and preparer for many years, then later a housewife.

On May 28, 1960 in Malden, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Wayne Baker.  He survives.

Other survivors include, one son, Richard Baker and wife, Sherry of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Sheena Grissom and husband, Steve of Boston, Massachusetts, Bolton Baker and wife, Alyssa of Portland, Oregon; eight great-grandchildren, Sierra Grissom, Steven Hershael Grissom, Shelby Grissom, Sadie Grissom, Susanna Grissom, Nyah Baker, Vita Baker and Jovie Baker; and one sister, Laura Pheasant and husband, Roger of Fenton, Missouri

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with funeral services beginning at 11:30 a.m. , with Reverend Aulden LeBlanc officiating.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
