Charles Meadows was born on October 18, 1942 in Malden, Missouri, the son of the late Douglas and Vada Berry Meadows.

On March 16, 1968, he was united in marriage to Barbara J. Meadows, who survives.

Mr. Meadows honorably served his country in the United States Army National Guard from February of 1964 until February of 1970. He retired from Missouri Highway and Transportation, where he worked as a highway maintenance supervisor. Charles was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.

Charles Meadows departed this life on Monday, March 31, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 82 years, 5 months, and 13 days.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara J. Meadows of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Misty Dawn Scott (Mitchell) of Florence, Alabama; son, Charles David Meadows (Delaina) of Savannah, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Eric Esselburn, Anna Harbin, Leia Meadows, and Jacob Meadows.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Jean Bird.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah, TN.  The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM.

A graveside service be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 1 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
