Charles Lindberg Ethridge 96, passed away at Hansen Hospice on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Born on August 10, 1929 in Hightower Arkansas to Richard and Mary Ethridge. United in marriage to Virginia Hampton on January 7, 2011.

Charles is survived by his wife Virginia, son Rick (Loretta) Ethridge and daughter Karen Holt, 5 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 16 Great Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grand Child. Also survived by brothers Harold and Ray Ethridge.

He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Veneta Ethridge in 2007, son in law Pastor Michael Holt, Sister Rosie Anglin, sister Pauline Baugus, brother Fred Ethridge and Sisters in law Connie and Bessie Ethridge.

Charles worked for Paramont for 21 years before retiring in 1986. He was a man of great faith. A member of Calvary Pentecostal Church in Hartford, he never met a stranger. He loved to play his guitar and sing. Charles helped build many churches in his life. He spent a lot of time at Walmart where the associates called him "Grandpa". Charles was the oldest member of Strength Haven and worked out daily when he was able. Most of all he loved his family and spent his best days surrounded by and being loved by them. He will be dearly missed.

A private viewing will be held for Charles, and he will be laid to rest next to Veneta Ethridge at Sumach Cemetery in Holcomb MO.
