Carolyn Sue (Tootsie) Buckley, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022, at her residence in Malden at the age of 80 years and 20 days.  Carolyn was born Friday, July 31, 1942 in Shook, Missouri  to the late Virgil Marvin Bennett and Annie L. Morning Bennett. She had worked as the store manager for Casey's in Malden.

On February 18, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Jerry Buckley.  He survives of the home in Malden.  Other survivors include:  3 daughters, Robin Mays and husband Kevin of Bernie; Sonya Buckley of Malden; and Tiffany Matney and husband Mike also of Malden.  4 sons, Jerry Wayne Buckley of Malden; Terry Buckley and wife Tammy of Troy Grove, Illinois; Shannon Buckley and wife Desirae of Utika, Illinois; and Shawn Buckley and wife Tracy of LaSalle, Illinois.  11 grandchildren, Shasta Buckley; Aaron Gilmore; Paige Mays; Kole Buckley; Brayden Buckley; Keegan Buckley; Shay Featherston; Bailey Mays; Taylor Matney; Miah Buckley; and Amelia Buckley.  5 great grandchildren, Jada; Stage; Able; Aylin; and Lennon.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Velma Bennett; Christine Delores Norden; Ruth Evelyn Houltzhouser and 2 brothers, Danny Bennett and Connie Bennett.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  Funeral services will be Friday, August 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Landess Funeral Chapel at Malden.
