Malden ~ Carol Faye Swinford, 71 of Malden, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Southeast Health in Dexter, Missouri.

Carol, daughter of Harmon Lyhue and Ila Christine Carter Swinford, was born on Friday, May 5, 1950 in Manila, Arkansas.

She was a CNA having worked in the Nursing Home.

Her survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Monique Johnson and husband, Lee of Malden, April Sutton of Gibson, Melissa Schwab and husband, Dustin of Lincoln, Illinois; two sons, Jerry Andrew Hill of Campbell, Tony Hill of Malden; 12 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren; three brothers, Rick Swinford of Malden, James Swinford of Hartsburg, Illinois, Mark Swinford of Malden; three sisters, Judy Swinford of Anna, Illinois, Barb Redding of Gideon and Sue Miller of Sikeston.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Joshua Lerma; four brothers, Mike Swinford, Eugene Carter, Harold Swinford, Dale Swinford; two sisters, Hope Swinford and Sheila Swinford.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. at the funeral chapel Mr. James Powell officiating.  Burial will follow at Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
