Carlos Vaughn Marang 78, of Malden, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Carl was born on Friday, July 18, 1947 in Coshocton, Ohio.

Carl was retired from AT&T, having been an Office Manager for over 30 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War while serving in the Navy.

In Reno, Nevada, Carl was united in marriage to Dorothy Romley. She survives.

His other survivors include, granddaughter, Megan Masayon and husband, Michael and their children, Karlee and Harlow Masayon all of Sacramento, California, two grandsons, Gene Sams and James Marcum of The Villages, Florida and a sister, Sharon Marang Dana of Post Falls, Idaho.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden is in charge of the arrangements.
