Carl Mikel Workman, Sr.

Campbell – Carl Mikel Workman, Sr., 67 of Campbell, Missouri, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at his residence in Campbell, Missouri.

Carl, son of Guy Melvin and Aline Catherine Hurtman Workman, was born on Tuesday, July 8, 1958 in Gideon, Missouri.

He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

On January 20, 1984 in Deridder, Louisiana, he was united in married to Anna Sue Morris.  She preceded him in death on September 27, 2015.  He later married Janie Lassiter on January 23, 2016 in Campbell, Missouri.  She survives.

Other survivors include sons, Carl Workman, Jr. of Campbell, Samuel Gilbert and wife, Becky of Piggott, Rickey Whitlow and wife, Tanya of Bono; daughters, Brandy Holloway and husband, Josh of Malden, Stefanie Gilbert of Campbell; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Rondal Workman and wife, Robin of Virginia, Paul Guy Workman of Campbell; sisters, Mary Burnam and Wanda Clark both of Campbell, Faye Walker of Springfield and Brenda Fisher of Clarkton; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher Workman; daughter, Christina Workman; brother, Charles Henry Workman.

A memorial service will be at a later date.
