Malden ~ Calvin Clayton Hartsfield, 82 of Malden, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Aspire Senior Living in Malden, Missouri.

Calvin, son of Clayton Henry and Mamie Belle Lawfield Hartsfield, was born on Sunday, January 15, 1939 in Blytheville, Arkansas.

He was Owner of Southside Auto Sales of Malden since 1960.  He was a member of the First Christian Church in Malden and a member of the Centerline Christian Car Club.

On July 8, 1960 in Parma, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Norma Lape.  She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Clay Hartsfield and wife, Brooke of Malden, Chad Hartsfield and wife, Terra of Bentonville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Lacey Winchester and husband, Tommy of Malden, Jessica Hartsfield of St. Louis, Ashton Hartsfield and Dustin Hartsfield both of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Taylor Brady of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Hayden Brady of Bentonville, Arkansas; five great-grandchildren, Cymber Arnold, Camille Winchester, Bree Winchester, Isaac Winchester, Karina Hartsfield; three sisters, Mary Timmer, JoAnn McCurter and Betty Stegall; and one brother, George Hartsfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Bobby Hartsfield, Alvis Hartsfield and Alton Hartsfield.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with funeral service beginning at 3 p.m., with Mr. Randy Moore officiating.  Burial will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
