Bruce Edward Lane, 66, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 20 at his residence in Jonesboro.

Bruce was born Sunday, January 10, 1960, in Malden, Missouri, to Sherman Simmons and Ollie Mae Simmons Lane.

Bruce was a veteran of the United States Army and worked at Crane Composite. In 1993, he married Martha Ann Pickett, and they shared 33 years of marriage.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Martha Ann Pickett; two children, Cody Wilkins and Raheem Lane; eight grandchildren, Kingston Wilkins, Tylia Johnson, Ty’Keriya Ann Johnson, Iralynn Nariah L. Rhodes, Jeremiah Johnson, Jayden Johnson, Avaione Pickett, and Aiden Rhodes; and two sisters, Georgetta of St. Louis, Missouri, and JoAnn of Gary, Indiana.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara, and seven brothers, Clerence, Roy, Jimmy, Perry, Todd, Pearcy and Larry.

A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2025 at Landess Funeral Home and Crematory in Malden.
