Malden ~ Brett Scott 61 of Clarkton, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022 at his residence in Clarkton, Missouri.

Brett, son of Jerald Dean and Luetta (Cookie) Crowder Scott, was born on Monday, December 12, 1960 in Danville, Illinois.

He was a factory worker for 34 years and a member of the 1 ^st Baptist Church in Gideon.

On March 1, 1980 in Tucson, Arizona, he was united in marriage to Janet Kay Dishroon.  She survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Jamie Kay Scott Vires and husband, Scottie of Kennett, Elizabeth Scott Kelly and husband, Kent of Piggott, Tabatha Scott Crow and husband, Jeremy of Dexter; four grandchildren, Breana Kailyn Scott of Piggott, Braelyn Rose Vires of Kennett, Kamdyn Blake Lee Scott of Piggott, Aaron Crow of Dexter; one brother, Gary Scott and wife, Karla of Williamsport, Indiana; two sisters, Star Scott Brown of Lafayette, Indiana and Mindy Lowery and husband, Troy of Thorntown, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four grandchildren, Brittlyn Dawn Scott, Brooklyn Leann Scott, Kaylie Elizabeth Scott, Kamille Leighton Scott.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Stanfield Cemetery, with Reverend Marty Carlisle officiating. Burial will immediately follow.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
