Brenda Gail McDonald, 72 of Malden, daughter of the late Barry W. Barkley & Jennie Walker Barkley, was born on September 26, 1947 in Cooter, Missouri. She departed this life on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at her residence in Malden, Missouri.

Brenda was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was united in marriage to James Delbert McDonald on October 19, 1962 in Caruthersville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on Tuesday, March 22, 2011.

Her survivors include: Daughters: Becky Kinder & husband, Michael of Malden and Teresa Cantrell of Malden. Sons: James McDonald of Piggott, Arkansas and Mark McDonald of Malden.

8 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. Brother: W C Barkley of Malden. Sisters: Luci Ward & Genevie Thornton. Several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, daughter: Ruth Hollis, great-grandchild: Christine Laxton, 4 brothers, 7 sisters.
