Campbell ~ Bonnie Jean Akridge, 78 of Campbell, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at her residence in Campbell, Missouri.

Bonnie, daughter of George Ephriam and Opal Verdere Gidcumb Ellsworth, was born on Saturday, July 6, 1946 in Malden, Missouri.

She was a retired Assistance District Manager for H&R Block.

On July 19, 1989 in Malden, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Donald Gene Akridge.  He preceded her in death on October 16, 2004.

Her survivors include companion, Jimmie Brown of the home; step-daughters, Misty Haynes of Marietta, Georgia, Shannon Meador of Tyler, Texas; little doggy's, Lucy and Lacy; brother, Edmond Ellsworth of Cape Girardeau; nieces, Elana Ison (Robert) of Malden, Elizabeth Ellsworth of Dexter, Tammy Garrison (Lee) of Malden, with many more nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death parents; husband; sisters, Clara Mae Little, Evelyn Ellsworth; brothers, James Ellsworth, George Ellsworth, Buford Ellsworth, Morris Ellsworth and Robert Lee Ellsworth.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell, Missouri, funeral service beginning at 3 p.m., with Dean Cecil officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
