Malden ~ Bobby Smithson, 82 of Malden, Missouri passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Mercy Hospital Stoddard in Dexter, Missouri.

Bobby, son of Edward and Goldie Earl Simthson, was born on Sunday, July 11, 1943 in Caruthersville, Missouri.

He retired from Falcon Door and Window and was of the Baptist Faith.

On December 27, 1965 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, he was united in marriage to Jo Ann Graham.  She preceded him in death on December 30, 2020.

His survivors include daughter, Wendi Jenkins and husband, Anthony of Ellsinore; son, Steven Smithson of Eminence, Kentucky; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sister, Louise Dodson of Caruthersville.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by daughters, Michelle Starnes, Lori Smithson; brothers, Paul Smithson, Donnie Smithson and sister, Mary Lindsey.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
