Bobby Lee Hallum of Clarkton, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 at his residence in Clarkton, Missouri at the age of 84 years, 9 months, and 19 days.  Bob was born on Monday, December 2, 1940 in Cooter, Missouri.

Bob was the Chief of Police in Holcomb for 17 years and was of the Baptist Faith. He also honorably served is the US Army as a Military Police Officer.

On January 24, 1986, Bobby Lee Hallum was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Dearing.  She preceded him in death on January 14, 2018.

His survivors include three children from his first marriage to Martha Holmes, one son, Terry Dean Hallum and wife, Jenny of Naples, Florida; daughter, LeeAnn McGuire of Troy, Missouri; five grandchildren, Drew Pomeroy, Jacob Brown, Caleb Brown, Arianna Sofia Hallum and Lauren Olivia Hallum; five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Shirley Rucker and husband, George of Sikeston, Missouri, Sue Ann Nelson of Marble Hill, Missouri, Diane Palmer of Alabama, Christine Blagg of Kennett, Missouri and Debbie Perkey of Oklahoma. Bob and Barbara also raised Jason Minyard, as their son.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, two brothers, Jimmie and Jerry Joiner and sister, Vickie Ogden.

Visitation will begin at 1 PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell. The funeral service will follow at 3 PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with Rev. Aulden LeBlanc officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell.
