Bobby Wayne Cronan of Malden passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at his residence.  Visitation will be at 12 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden with funeral services following at 1 PM in the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Rev. James Hamlett officiating.  Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.

Bobby, who was a long-time Malden resident, was born on Thursday, July 25, 1940 in Lilbourn, Missouri to Dolphus Cronan and Maude Morland Cronan.

Bobby was a veteran having served in the United States Army and the Missouri National Guard.  He was retired from Associated Electric as a safety and security officer and also served as a Malden Police Officer.

On August 26, 1960, in Memphis, TN, Bobby married the love of his life, Kathy Pierce, and she survives him.  Together they attended Sunnyvale General Baptist Church in Malden.

Other survivors include his brother, Welton Cronan; two children, Russell Cronan, Sr. and wife Jamie and Calvin Cronan and wife Lori; two grandchildren, Christina Hillis and husband Darren and Russell Cronan, Jr. and wife Rachel; three great grandchildren, Helena Cronan, Brinley Hillis and Carter Hillis; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
