Campbell ~ Bitha Ovena Burns, 91 of Campbell, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Westwood Hills Health and Rehab Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Ovena, daughter of William Othel and Inis Bradford Burns, was born on Monday, December 24, 1928 in Greenway, Arkansas.

She was a Housewife, loved her flowers, art, painting and cake decorating and loved her family very much, also a member of the First Assembly of God.

On December 24, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Randolph Sanders.  He preceded her in death on December 8, 2014.

Her survivors include two children, Brenda Neal and husband, Tom of Poplar Bluff, Paul Sanders and wife, Edie Norlin of Newark, Ohio; four grandchildren, Matthew Wirtz and wife, Ellen of Poplar Bluff, Sharon Taylor and husband, Charles of Poplar Bluff, Peter Sanders of Newark, Ohio, Jacob Sanders and wife, Virginia Jaquish of Nashville, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren, Aden Wirtz, Madilyn Wirtz and Samuel Taylor; Step-Daughter, Jean Georgiou and husband, Sotos and their children and grandchildren of Limassol, Cyprus.

She was preceded in death by parents; one son, James Sanders; two brothers, Henry Burns and Doyne Burns.

Visitation will be from 1 - 2 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, with services beginning at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bruce Vinson officiating. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
