Malden ~ Bill Hackworth, 94 of Malden, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at his residence in Malden, Missouri.

Bill, son of Sherman and Geraldine Coburn Hackworth, was born on Friday, July 12, 1929, in Leachville, Arkansas.

He was a welder for many years in St. Louis.

His survivors include sister, Shelby Pelts and husband Jim. Girlfriend, Joyce Atchley. Also surviving is Joey Thurman, Harvey Thurman, Alan Thurman, Blynn Atchley, Renea Hilfiker and Candance Jennings, who were all like children to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with Allan Laszewski officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Clarkton.
