Malden ~~ Betty Ann King, 87 of Malden passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Betty, daughter of Elson and Edna Dunscomb Provance, was born on Sunday, May 24, 1931, in Clarkton, Missouri.

She was in the Nursing and Medical field for over 60 years.  She was a member of the Sunnyvale General Baptist Church in Malden.

On July 2, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Bobby Edward King.  He preceded her in death on September 3, 2012.

Her survivors include three daughters, Nancy Knight (Robert) and Marilynn King all of Malden, Peggy Nenminger (Kevin) of Warrenton, Missouri; one brother, W.F. (Buck) Provance (Liz) of Malden; three sisters, Barbara Tallarico (Bob) of Grand Junction, Colorado, Margaret McFarland (Jerry) of Melbourne, Arkansas, Gail Bauer of Chelsea, Michigan; sister-in-law, Linda Kay Hodges of Clarkton and several Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Norman West Bauer.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2 – 4 P.M. at Landess Funeral Home in Malden, with services beginning at 4 P.M. with Mr. James Hamlett officiating. A Graveside Service will be a 11 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Bloomfield.
