Campbell ~ Betty Ann Case, fondly referred to as “Betsy,” passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, at St. Louis University Hospital at the age of 79. She was born on July 20, 1947, to Sam and Betty Young.

On December 9, 1967, Betsy married the love of her life, Clarence Carroll Case. Together they built a beautiful life centered around family, friendship, and making a home filled with love. Throughout her life, Betsy devoted herself to serving others. In her younger years, she was actively involved with the local Girl Scout troops, helping shape and encourage young girls in her community. Later, she owned a ceramic shop where she shared her creativity by teaching others the art of ceramic painting. She found joy in cooking meals for those she loved, sewing, quilting, camping and creating lasting memories with family.

Above all else, Betsy treasured family. She loved spending time with children, grandchildren, and friends, but nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than her great-granddaughters, who held a very special place in her heart.

She is survived by devoted husband of 58 years, Clarence Carrol Case; sister, Gwen Pratt of Annapolis, Missouri; brother, Faron Young of Des Arc, Missouri; son Bradley Carroll Case and wife, Tina of Van Buren, Missouri; daughter Brandi Lynn Blake of Campbell, Missouri; and beloved fur baby, Toby.

She also leaves behind beloved grandchildren: Kaitlin A. Lovell and husband, Layton, of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Justin P. Umfleet and wife, Shelbie, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; Anna M. Harris and husband, Ethan of Holcomb, Missouri; along with cherished great-granddaughters, Brylee Kate Umfleet, Merritt Rae Umfleet, and Kennedy Marie Harris. Betsy, also leaves many nieces, nephews, and friends whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by parents, Sam and Betty Young, and brother Bryan Young.

Betsy’s gentle spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for family will never be forgotten. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and, in the traditions, lessons, and love she passed down through generations. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Tucker Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri, with Reverend Darren Baker officiating. Burial will immediately follow.
