Barry Kilgore passed away at his residence in St. Louis on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the age of 74 years, 5 months, and 21 days.

Barry was born on Friday, April 6, 1951 in Canalou, Missouri to the late Earl Lee Kilgore and Samella Smith Kilgore.  Barry had worked in mail delivery at Goodwill where he retired.

His survivors include:   4 Sisters, Linda Thompson and husband Julion of Dexter; Iris Reed of Malden; Yvette Hill and husband Hershell of Malden; and Yvonne Triplett of Malden; 10 brothers, Keith Kilgore of Malden, Brad Kilgore and wife Lisa of Columbia, Dale Kilgore and wife Candice of Poplar Bluff, Terry Kilgore and wife Tammy of New Madrid, Danny Kilgore of Malden, Michael Kilgore of Malden, Jimmie Kilgore of Malden; Christopher Kilgore and wife Ann of Malden, Jackie Cook and wife Rebecka and Larry Cook and wife Shelia and a special uncle Willie Walton, Jr.  Extended families of the Cook family and the Thatch family and also special caretakers, Debra Stewart, Damon Page, Guy Jones and Chasity Brown.

Barry was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Betty Fredrick Brown Mills and brother, Ricky Kilgore.

Visitation will begin at 11 AM Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  The funeral service will follow at 12 PM Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Rev. Jackie Cook officiating.  Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery in Malden.
