Malden ~ Barbie McCallister, 50 of Malden, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri.

Barbie, daughter of Rufus David McCallister and Barbara Ellen Lawrence Elliott, was born on Sunday, July 18, 1971 in Gideon, Missouri.

Her survivors include Life Mate, Eric Aragon of Malden; her mother, Barbara Ellen Elliott of Half Way, Missouri; one son, Cody Thorne of Malden; seven sisters, Laurie Hicks of Norwood, Doris Lape of Mansfield, Marcie Rodgers and husband, Dan of Half Way, Deborah McCallister of Buffalo, Carmella Rutledge and husband, Steve of Kissimmee, Florida, Michelle Elliott of West Virginia, Rochelle Elliott of Indiana; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, David McCallister and step-father, James Elliott.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m., at the funeral home chapel with Reverend Hubert Robinson officiating.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
