Barbara Nell Coons daughter of the late Otis Monroe Allen & Ruby Nell Luckett Allen was born on January 10, 1947 in Evansville, Indiana.  She passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Winchester Nursing Center in Bernie, Missouri at the age of 72 years 10 months and 17 days.

Barbara Nell Coons was a homemaker and was a member of the Sunnyvale General Baptist Church. On November 7, 1964 she was united in marriage to John Francis Coons in Pacific, Missouri. He survives of the home.

Her other survivors include:  Sons: Jeffery Coons & wife, Moranda of Poplar Bluff and John Coons of Nashville, Tennessee. Daughters: Laurie McQueary & husband, James of Malden and Amy Pixley & husband, Aaron of Dexter. 16 Grandchildren, 9 Great-grandchildren. Sister: Judy Cowsert & husband, James of Malden. Brothers: Darrell Allen of Calhown, Kentucky, Wayne Allen & Richard Allen of Louisville, Kentucky. Several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 1-3 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home chapel in Malden.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend James Hamlett officiating.

Interment will be in the Rosewood First Addition Cemetery in Malden.
