Barbara Barnett 79, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Barbara the daughter of Phillip and Murial Hudges Jordan was born on Sunday, February 17, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Barbara was a cook at Shirley's Café in Clarkton.

On October 11, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Leslie David Barnett. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2002.

Her survivors include, three sons, Mark Morris of Wappapello, David Barnett of Jackson, TN and Johnathon Barnett of Clarkton; two daughters, Nellie Barnett of Cape Girardeau and Lezley Barnett and husband, Shannon Guyton of Clarkton; 12 grandchildren, Mark Morris II, Bionca Caldwell, Whitney Barnett, Mycah Geohagen, Kaleb Guyton, Sariah Barnett, Shamika Barnett, Brenden Calder, Mathew Morris, Logan McMillian, Justin McMillian and Trucker McClish and sixteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, John Barnett and two grandsons, Seth Calder and Brandon Barnett.

Visitation will begin at 12 PM, Friday, July 25, 2025, at Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  The funeral service will follow at 1 PM, Friday, July 25, 2025 in the Landess Funeral Home chapel in Malden with Rev. Aulden LeBlanc officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri.
